Sondheim on Sondheim featuring Leiela Gowns

Leiela gowns shone on stage at the Sondheim on Sondheim stage production , held at the Melbourne Recital Centre on May 23rd.   The one-day only music revue featured classic songs from Broadway hits such as West Side Story and A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum and was a celebration of Stephen Sondheim’s incredible 62-year long career. Designer Lucy Laurita found it a proud moment to have her gowns part of a stage show of such high calibre.

Three gorgeous stars of the show Lisa-Marie Parker, Lucy Maunder and Delia Hannah all graced the stage in Lucy’s creations. Lisa-Marie wore a stunning black feather gown with lace top and leather belt, and Delia sparkled in black sequins in the Elisia gown. Lucy shone in a midnight sequin fishtail gown and bronze stardust dress.

Lucy attended the show and was thrilled to see her gowns up on stage. She adored Lisa-Marie as the unconventional bride, and feels privileged to be involved with some of Australia’s top theatre talent. Grateful for the relationships built up over the years, Lucy is looking forward to more theatre productions and having her gowns grace the stage.
