Leiela has a new look and we are bringing you a sneak peak along with behind-the-scenes photoshoot action! Leiela has kept the soft femininity and signature style gowns we all know and love, incorporating edgy day wear and sexy cropped jackets that are statement pieces all on their own.

Photogapher Sam Tabone of the A Listers joined designer Lucy Laurita for the day, along with Miss Universe 2014 State Finalist Jessica Parrish and make-up artist Jaz Stevenson of Blaq Rose Make-Up Artistry, who came together to create the stunning looks for Leiela.

Sam has an extensive array of experience, shooting on location all over the world. Working with many celebrities, his career highlights include photographing Sophia Loren at this year’s La Dolce Italia Charity Gala event.
Jaz created the flawless make-up looks for Jess, who worked the lens like a pro.
The model’s favourite part of the day is always “dressing up and wearing pretty dresses – getting to be somebody else for the day.” Posing dreamily and earning the

nickname of Snowflake due to her glowing porcelain skin, Jess was able to transform her looks from sultry to rock-star, to angelic.
“Luminous skin is very in at the moment,” confirms Jaz. “Ladies love having that minimal make-up look with natural flawless skin.”
On hand throughout each stage of the shoot, Jaz’s work compliments each outfit. Her product of choice is Arbonne botanically-based cosmetics. The creativity and emotion expressed through art and design is what inspires the make-up artist.
“I don’t believe in giving boundaries to your imagination when it comes to creativity!”

Heading into the Australian bush for the outdoors shoot, the vibe became very Australiana. Gorgeous shrubbery and gumtrees set the perfect scenery for Leiela gowns, including the sunset georgette Bella Wrap Dress, Alida Skirt and Quinlin crop Jacket.
“The best part of my job is being able to collaborate with other creatives,” says designer Lucy.
“I start with a vision that is enhanced and comes to life with the input of others.”
