This weeks Leiela Insider starts to take you along the journey of designer Lucy Laurita’s amazing experience of visiting LA on a promotional trip for Leiela.
Excited to be visiting LA on a 20-day whirlwind trip, the packed itinerary featured visits to the LA fashion district, industry

meetings, and fabric buying for stunning new Leiela designs. Arriving on Sunday to a very warm welcome by vivacious friends Maurice and Celeste, there was plenty of fun to be had too! Fashion photo-shoots, a weekend in Vegas and invites to exclusive Hollywood parties were all yet to come.

Monday was straight into the first photo shoot, and LA local celebrity photographer Maurice Rinaldi was the man behind the lens. Gorgeous model Celeste Billinge wore new Leiela Jenna Wrap dress, and things got a little wild for the shoot! The ombre silk chiffon dress is the ideal outfit for many a spring soiree, as it can be wrapped tight or low (we decided to go plunging for the glamour shot), depending on the occasion and mood of the wearer! The shoot naturally attracted a crowd of eager admirers, and Celeste was only too happy to sign autographs for fans after the shoot.

With backdrops set amongst famous locations along Wilshire Boulevard in Beverly Hills, it was a real treat for designer Lucy and Leiela gowns.

“It was all action on the shoot, Maurice was on the pulse!” says Lucy. “All eyes were on Celeste as she worked the dress, the crowd and the magnificent heels.”

the atmosphere of the iconic hotel featured in the film Pretty Woman starring Julia Roberts and Richard Gere.
The next day, a visit to nearby beachside Santa Barbara inspired with beautiful Spanish architecture and interior décor, and refreshed energy levels after a big day of shooting.
