Fashionistas love a great runway and Haute Couture Week in Paris is the perfect time for sartorial inspiration. Fall-Winter 2015-16 Chanel proved a star-studded affair, with movie-star cameos and models gracing a casino themed runway. Wearing uniform short dark hair and meticulously detailed, new season Chanel, the runway was all about embellishments. Feathers, ruffles, studs, crystals and sparkling details complemented traditional fall hues of plum and silver-grey, cream and lots of classic black.

Flowing and relaxed silhouettes set the mood at Dior for Fall-Winter 2015-16. Collection looks were

all about contrast, with high-necklines featured alongside plunging ones and monochrome fabrics featured alongside gorgeous, standout prints. Long evening gowns, dresses and sleeves in black, pink, blue and white summoned the fall feel. Exaggerated long-sleeve capes and jackets and wide-leg seventies pants remained on trend, with a variety of textured vests and scarves accessorising long, wavy hair that fit the Dior theme. Long soft, wavy locks and high necklines also featured at the Ralph & Russo Fall- Winter 2015-16 collection. The Australian designers creations for the British fashion house impressed, with glamorous fairy-tale inspired gowns and elegant bridal couture on the runway. Wide, voluminous skirts, soft

satins and lace in a palate of cream, white, gold, soft silver and peach shone. Opulent floral themes, crystal embellishments, luxurious textures and structured garments were reminiscent of royalty. The dark side was not forgotten, with a range of evening gowns in dark navy and stunning black.
