These terms and conditions outline the expectations and commitments between Lucy Laurita and our valued clients. We are committed to delivering Australian-made, high-quality garments designed with care and attention to detail.
By placing an order, you agree to the following terms

Orders, pricing & payment terms
- All orders will be quoted based on design, fabric selection, quantity, and required production timeline.
- Once order details are confirmed, a 50% deposit is required before production can commence.
- The remaining 50% balance must be paid prior to delivery.
- All prices are quoted in Australian dollars (AUD) and are exclusive of GST.
- Shipping costs are calculated separately unless otherwise agreed.
- Accepted payment methods include bank transfer, or PayPal (processing fees may apply).

Custom design & ownership
- All designs, including custom commissions, remain the intellectual property of Lucy Laurita.
- Designs may not be copied, modified, or reproduced without written permission.
- Exclusive rights or ownership transfers can be arranged under a separate agreement with applicable licensing fees.

Design variation & manufacturing tolerances
- As each garment is handmade, slight variations in stitching, measurements, or finishes may occur.
- A manufacturing tolerance of ±1.5 cm in garment sizing is considered standard.
- Fabric colour variations may occur between dye lots or appear differently on screen. Fabric swatches or samples can be requested before confirming an order.
- Clients are responsible for approving final designs, fabrics, trims, and sizing before production begins.

Availability & lead times
- Production lead times depend on fabric availability, current workload, and order volume.
- Standard orders require approximately 4–8 weeks to complete, but timelines may vary during busy periods.
- Express orders may be possible with a surcharge, depending on fabric stock and scheduling.
- We will notify you of any unexpected production delays.

Returns, faults & claims
- We do not offer returns or refunds for change of mind, incorrect size selection, or after delivery of custom-made garments.
- Faults must be reported within 7 days of delivery. Claims must include a written description and photographic evidence.
- If a garment is confirmed to be faulty or does not match the approved specifications, a repair, replacement, or refund will be offered at our discretion.

Delivery & shipping
- Shipping is arranged via trusted couriers and is billed to the buyer unless otherwise agreed.
- Risk of loss or damage transfers to the buyer upon dispatch.
- Lucy Laurita is not liable for delays caused by couriers, customs clearance, or other factors outside our control.
- Shipping insurance is available upon request.

Changes & cancellations
- Once production has commenced, orders cannot be cancelled or changed.
- Changes requested after order confirmation may result in additional charges and extended delivery timelines.
- If any fabric or trims become unavailable, we will offer an alternative or provide a refund for the unavailable item.

Exclusivity
- Style or location exclusivity is available on request and requires a mutually agreed minimum order commitment.
- Lucy Laurita reserves the right to determine the availability of exclusive styles per region or boutique.

Confidentiality
- All discussions regarding design development, pricing, and collaboration are strictly confidential between Lucy Laurita and the client.
- Any behind-the-scenes content or design processes must not be shared publicly without written consent.
